YAdd extra costs to a specific component using NREs for materials
QuoteCQ users and BidCQ users can add NRE for their custom parts. For that, we introduce two columns: NRE Name and NRE cost, where you can define the name and the cost of the NRE. Below is a brief explanation of how to add in a Material NRE and its calculations.
Add NRE in BIDCQ:
To add an NRE, you will need to open the BID where you will see the NRE Name and NRE Cost column.
Note: After submitting, this NRE is not included in unit cost, it will show in a separate column to your customer.
Add NRE in QuoteCQ:
To add an NRE for particular parts, you need to open the CQ Price Selector window. After scrolling to right, you will find the NRE Name and NRE cost column where you can enter the NRE name and the price. These columns can be hidden/unhidden from the grid.
On the summary tab, this NRE cost is listed by default. You can change the charge type to either Amortize or List or Exclude by clicking on the three-dot. Based on the selected charge type the NRE will be added to the final cost.
