QuoteCQ: How To Create a Custom RFQ Form

Add your own fields and checklists to the RFQ form to capture your required information for quotation.

CalcuQuote understands that every job is different. With the new expanded RFQ functionality, users are able to further customize the RFQ form by adding unique inputs, lists, and requirements. Whether it be sales information or risk mitigators, the upgraded RFQ form can more easily support your data collection goals.

To add additional requirements to your RFQ form, navigate to the Configuration view.

Click on RFQ Setup.

To add fields, click the '+' next to Checklist Builder.

Enter the name for this field and choose the appropriate Field Type. There are eight different Field Types to choose from.

Field Types:

  1. TextBox: Allows for a freeform entry. (Example: Field Name = Program Manager, TextBox would allow user to enter the name of the Program Manager)

  2. CheckBox: Allows for multiple selections.

  3. Date: Displays a calendar and allows users to enter a specific reference date.

  4. Dropdown: Similar to CheckBox, allows for multiple selections.

  5. Password: Allows for a password entry.

  6. Email

  7. Number

  8. RadioButton

You can make a field required by checking the 'Required' box.

After you have entered the additional fields you would like to include on the RFQ form, begin a New RFQ.

You will see the RFQ Checklist displayed under Quote Information.
