QuoteCQ: How To Find and suggest alternate parts

Alternates are an important resource when quoting a job for a customer. Using previous BOM history and other sources, QuoteCQ can search part numbers to see where alternates have been suggested in the past.

To suggest an alternate, here are the options:

Material Review

From wherever you suggest an alternate, the Alternate MPN Suggestion screen will popup. From here, you can add a manual alternate MPN or Get a Suggested MPN from another source.

After adding the alternate MPN, choose Close.

This will then prompt you to rerun Update Pricing and source the result for the alternate.
