Why is CalcuQuote switching support platforms?
We’re making the move to Intercom to provide faster support, better chat functionality, and in-app help tools. This new platform allows us to assist you more efficiently and communicate smarter, right where you’re working.
When is the switch happening?
We’ll officially switch to Intercom on August 19th. You’ll see a new chat experience in your CQ app starting that day.
What happens to my previous support history?
Your previous conversations aren’t going away — they’re still accessible to our team. However, they won’t carry over into the new Intercom chat window. If you need anything from a past thread, we’re happy to help retrieve it.
What about Chip?
Chip, our old support bot, will be heading into retirement. You’ll now be connected directly with the CQ team or guided with new in-app tools powered by Intercom.
What if I can’t find an article or help doc I need?
We’re refreshing our Knowledge Base as part of this transition. If something’s missing, just reach out via the chat and we’ll guide you.
Why can’t I move the chat bubble?
The new Intercom widget stays fixed in the bottom-right corner of your screen so it’s easy to find no matter where you are in the app.
Do I need to log in to use support?
Yes — logging into CQ gives you access to your support history, personalized help, and quicker responses. Logging in ensures a smoother experience with Intercom.
