      QuoteCQ: How to use the preferred UOM functionality

      QuoteCQ users can update the UOM for a single part from the CQPS screen and the system will apply that same UOM to the same MPN in future Assemblies.

      1. In the material costing tab, open the CQPS screen for the MPN.
        Click on the Purchase UOM cell where you can modify the Unit and the "Per Package Count" (the little number in blue).
      2. After changing the UOM, the system will ask you to confirm if the changes should apply to all future assemblies for the same MPN and Supplier.

      3. By clicking yes, the system will apply the saved ‘Purchase UOM’ and ‘per package count" in the future.
