      How to Renew the Avnet Client Secret

      The Client Secret Key will need to be renewed every 6 months per the Avnet security policy. Here are the steps for the renewal.

      1. Logon to Avnet API Portal and go to the Profile page
      2. Go to the Authorization details section
      3. Click the button "Create New Secret" to create a new secret
        1. Note: Client secret can only be viewed immediately after creation, so be sure to copy and paste the secret right away!

      4. Send your Client secret to your CalcuQuote Account Manager or to support@calcuquote.com

      Please be aware that the Client Secret is only visible immediately after it is created. It is essential to copy and save the secret right away before navigating away from the page.
