QuoteCQ: How to Use BOM Scrub

Check the new BOM Scrub function to populate Health analysis, Lifecycle and materials information, in one click!

Out new BOM Scrub function replacing the old BOM Info will provide to QuoteCQ users not only a description review and lifecycle information, but will dig more into market information providing materials health information prior to the sourcing stage.

1. In the BOM tab, navigate to the Actions menu and select the option for BOM Scrub.
   
2. You will get a pop-up showing your BOM MPN lines which you can select from the column to the right, or you can just click on blue Get BOM Info button in the top-right corner.
   
3. If you didn't select any lines in the previous step, just click on the RUN FOR ALL button.
   
4. The information available for your components will then populate in separate columns. 
   1. The MPN Health will be mark with colored hearts, where red hearts mean a poor MPN Health score, grey hearts for MPNs for which the application didn't find enough data to populate a score, and green hearts when the MPN Health score is positive. 
   2. The Links will show any DataSheet or Product Link available for the material.
      
   3. The Lifecycle status will populate lifecycle information for the given MPN such as obsolete, active, EOL, etc.
      
5. Click on Save
6. The information will display in the BOM tab in the column to the right, where you can access the details anytime. 
   

Do not forget to submit your BOM!
