What information can I retrieve?
- Search API: The DigiKey API retrieves both the catalogue prices together with the negotiated contract prices.
- Order API: The DigiKey API also allows you to send Purchase Order via API using ShopCQ.
Both API types are connected at the same time, so you don't need to follow a separate process to request one or another.
What information do I need to provide to CQ team?
Nothing! - At CalcuQuote we have an integrated process to connect you to DigiKey API.What do I need to do?
- Reach out to your CalcuQuote Account Manager to request the DigiKey API
- The CQ Team will process the request in your behalf.
- The DigiKey team will review the request and approve the API creation and limit.
- Once the API is approved by the DigiKey team, the CQ team will generate the URL that will allow you to connect to your contract prices.
- The CQ team will send you an email with the URL. You will need to click on the URL and login with your DigiKey account.
Please note that the DigiKey Account you login with needs to have access to your company's negotiated prices, otherwise the API will not be able to retrieve the contract prices. - The API will be then ready to use.
