What information can I retrieve?
- Catalogue pricing: the Farnell API will retrieve the website prices with no negotiated discount.
- Contract pricing: with the right credentials, the Farnell will retrieve your negotiated prices.
What information do I need to provide to CQ team?
The needed information depends on what type of prices you want/have access to.- Catalogue Pricing: Farnell API Key
- Contract Pricing:
- API Key
- Customer ID
- API Secret
What do I need to do?
- Click here and create a Partner Portal Login - https://partner.element14.com/page
- After registering and logging back in, you'll be able to follow the steps to request the API.
- You should then be able to find your API key from the partner portal.
- Go to My Applications and select the option to create a New Application.
- Complete the Form, starting with your Company's information.
- Under the Select which Web APIs this application will use, select the Limit of your API. We recommend you select Medium as minimum, although you can select a higher limit based on your needs.
- Agree to the Terms of Service in the bottom and Request Application.
- The API Key gives you access to the catalogue pricing only.
- If you want to have the catalogue prices only, then send the API Key to your CalcuQuote Account Manager who will connect the API accordingly and confirm back to you
- If you want ot have the contract prices, then continue with the instructions below.
For Contract Pricing
- After completing the steps above, send an email to eprocenquiries@premierfarnell.com and include:
- Your Company Name
- Your Company Address and Country
- Your Farnell Account Number.
- Farnell will process your request and send you an email with the Customer ID and API Secret.
- Send the three keys (API Key, Customer ID and API Secret to your CalcuQuote Account Manager.
- The CQ team will connect the API accordingly and will confirm back to you.
