What information can I retrieve?
- Catalogue pricing: the Master Electronics API will retrieve the website prices with no negotiated discount.
- Contract pricing: with the right credentials, the Master Electronics API will retrieve your negotiated prices.
- Order API: the Master Electronics API can also allow you to place Purchase Orders via API when using ShopCQ.
What information do I need to provide to CQ team?
The needed information depends on what type of prices you want/have access to.
Do you have a Master Electronics representative?
- If YES, you will have to provide:
- Name of your Master Electronics Representative.
- Email address of your Master Electronics Representative.
- Region where your Master Electronics Representative is located.
- If NO, you will have to privde:

- API Username (provided by Master Electronics team).
- API Name (provided by Master Electronics team).
- API URL (provided by Master Electronics team).
- API Key (provided by Master Electronics team).
- For the Order API
- Order API Key
- Master Electronics' Account Number
What do I need to do?
When I do have a Master Electronics representative
- Reach out to your Calcuquote Account Manager to request this API.
- Specify the following information:
- Name of your Master Electronics representative.
- Email address of your Master Electronics representative.
- Region where your Master Electronics Representative is located.
- The CQ Application you will use this API for: QuoteCQ, ShopCQ or both.
- Your CalcuQuote Account manager will reach out to your Master Electronics representative and will request the API for you.
- The Master Electronics team will provide the API details, such as:
- API Username
- API Name
- API URL
- API Key
- PO API Key - if needed for ShopCQ usage.
- PO Account Number - if needed for ShopCQ usage.
- Your CalcuQuote Account Manager will setup the credentials in your application.
If I DON'T have a Master Electronics representative.
- Go to https://www.masterelectronics.com/en/
- At the top of the screen, log in with your Master Electronics account or create a new one.
- After logging in, navigate to My Account at the top of the screen.
- Click on My Profile, and use the menu on the left-hand side to choose API Access Request.
- Fill out the request form:
- API Request reason - indicate the following: "API usage within CalcuQuote" and asking for 10,000 calls/day
- Type of API Needed:
- Choose Price and Availability, when you will use the QuoteCQ application.
- Choose both Price and Availability and Order API, when you will use the ShopCQ application.
- Expected Number of API Calls per Dat: 10,000
- Click on Submit.
- Someone from Master Electronics will review your request, and they will approve/reject it.
- If approved, the Master Electronics team will send you:
- API Username
- API Name
- API Key
- PO API Key - if the Order API option was selected.
- PO Account Number - if the Order API option was selected.
- Share those information with your CalcuQuote Account Manager.
- The CQ Team will then setup the API accordingly and will confirm back to you the connection is successful.
