Simplified “No Bid” on Bidsheet Import

We’ve introduced a streamlined way to manage “No Bid” lines in your quotes. Now, you can mark lines as “No Bid” directly in the Part Status column, add notes for context, and track these statuses for better reporting. No more fake data entries or manual workarounds—just a clear, efficient process.

Why do I care?

🖊️ Easier Management: Marking “No Bid” lines is simple and straightforward, saving you time and reducing errors.

📋 Better Context: Add notes and reasons (e.g., obsolete, not franchised) to clarify why a line is marked as “No Bid.”

📊 Enhanced Reporting: “No Bid” data is tracked for analysis, giving you better visibility into quoting trends.

🔄 Flexible Changes: If circumstances change, you can easily revert a “No Bid” line back to active status.

Improved Collaboration on Shared Quotes

We’ve enhanced how teams can collaborate on shared quotes. Users with view-only access can now request editing rights directly within the app. If the current editor doesn’t respond within 60 seconds, access will automatically transfer to the requester—keeping your workflows moving smoothly.

🤝 Better Team Collaboration: Multiple team members can now work on separate quotes simultaneously without interruptions.
🔄 Seamless Access Control: Request editing rights easily, with a quick transfer if the current user is inactive.
No Delays: Prevent bottlenecks by ensuring team members can take over editing when needed.
🌐 Improved Browser Support: Enhanced functionality ensures smoother transitions, even in legacy systems like Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Email Delivery Status for Supplier Communication

We’re adding a way for buyers to confirm if supplier emails, such as Purchase Orders, were delivered successfully. If an email fails (e.g., due to a blacklist or a full inbox), the buyer will be notified with the reason, allowing them to follow up with the supplier directly.

Why do I care?

📬 Clear Confirmation: Know immediately if your email was delivered or if there was an issue.

🔍 Transparency: View delivery status directly in the PO History for better tracking and accountability.

Proactive Communication: Address email issues quickly to ensure suppliers receive critical information without delays.
