What’s New in QuoteCQ?
New BOM Scrubbing – Phase 1
A new BOM Scrub widget has been added, allowing you to retrieve detailed BOM data using the BOM Health API. Information such as Lifecycle Status, RoHS compliance, Supplier Description, and Datasheet URLs is now stored in the database and displayed in the BOM tab.
Why It's Great? This enhancement simplifies your BOM management by centralizing critical data and improving visibility into component health and compliance.
Key Details:
- Goodbye BOM Info!!! This is replacing that functionality.
- Access the new “BOM Scrub” option from the action menu on the BOM tab (replacing the “BOM Info” option).
- Use the “Get Info” button to fetch details like MPN Health, Datasheet URLs, and Lifecycle Status.
- Save this data directly to the database for better integration with your workflows.
- The feature is enabled via a configuration flag (default: off).
Custom Column Enhancements – Phase 1
Users can now filter and sort custom column values on the BOM, Material Costing, and CQPS tabs. Additionally, custom column values can now be edited directly on the BOM and CQPS, providing enhanced flexibility and control.
Why It's Great? This update improves your ability to manage and organize BOM data, making it easier to focus on the information that matters most for your quoting process.
Key Details:
- BOM Tab: Edit, filter, and sort custom columns directly from the BOM grid or MPN details drawer. Columns can also be shown or hidden as needed.
- Material Costing Tab: Filter and sort custom columns with the ability to hide or show them.
- CQPS: Edit and filter custom columns without changing the source of price to “Manual.”
Send Bid via MPN Bid by Line Card
Users can now generate bids for specific MPNs within a line item, even when multiple MPNs and manufacturers are configured for the same supplier. Only the selected part will be included in the bid.
Why It's Great? This update gives you greater control over which parts are included in supplier bids, ensuring only relevant information is sent.
What’s New in ShopCQ?
Country Code Mapped to Shipping Location
The Country Code for shipping locations will now pull automatically from the configured country in Company Details, removing the need to set it separately in ShopCQ.
Why It's Great? This automation reduces manual setup and ensures consistency across shipping configurations, saving time and reducing errors.
What’s New in DevCQ?
Pivot Data Source Update
Data sources can now pivot based on IPN (Internal Part Number) instead of MPN (Manufacturer Part Number), aligning with ERP outputs that use IPN as the source of truth. This allows for standardized pricing and stock visibility across multiple MPNs linked to the same IPN.
Why It's Great? This update ensures better data accuracy and simplifies integration with ERP systems that use IPN-based workflows.
TTI Quote API Update
The TTI Quote API now supports multi-tier pricing and retrieves all price breaks directly via the API.
Why It's Great? This improvement provides more comprehensive pricing data, giving you better insight into cost breakdowns and quantity pricing.
Shangyin Integration
A non-standard API integration with Shangyin is now available in QuoteCQ, enabling advanced pricing capabilities for specific use cases.
Why It's Great? This integration allows for expanded supplier options, helping you secure better pricing and availability for your needs.
Key Details: Contact your Account Manager to enable this feature. It requires activation via the API Pricing configuration.
