      QuoteCQ | What are some common BOM formatting issues?

      Some common reasons why a BOM may not import are:

      1. Formulas or hyperlinks in the cells

      2. Hidden columns/rows/sheets

      3. Macros

      4. Merged cells

      While the import and mapping process is rather flexible and can handle many of the above situations on a case by case basis, errors may occur when they exist. A quick copy and paste as values into a clean sheet tends to be a quick fix for most scenarios.

      *Note: A user cannot import a new BOM when an old BOM is still in the RFQ. Delete the original BOM first before entering a new BOM.
