CalcuQuote is happy to announce recent updates and functionality!
What’s New: December Features of CalcuQuote [Release Notes]
We look forward to deploying these features to your instance soon. In the meantime, please take a look at the complete update notes:
Calculation Creator
We are excited to announce a new innovative feature! With this update, CalcuQuote users with appropriate permissions can configure their own labor calculations using “Labor Formulas” within the Labor configuration section. The formulas can be based on part class, part type, part type grouping, and part category (Component, PCB, Sub-assembly), and the formulas can account for lines, parts, or PCB panels. Labor automation has never been easier. Stay tuned for a webinar coming soon!
New Quote Reports
We’re excited to announce new Quote Report formats that are more aesthetic and provide varying degrees of insight into your quotes. Review the article here to see the available formats, and please reach out to a CalcuQuote team member to turn on your future quote report.
Quick Quote Attachments
Attachments can now be added to Quick Quotes! Read this article to learn more.
Adding Suppliers In-line with Manual Prices
When adding manual pricing from the CQ Price Selector, users will now be able to add suppliers and supplier contacts inline. To learn more about this functionality, read here.
Use Escape Key to Close Pop-ups
Simple, yet efficient. Clicking the ‘Esc’ key will now close out just about every pop-up in CalcuQuote. This includes views like MPN Details, the CQ Price Selector, and Guided Labor.
Revision Field Added
Revision Fields can now be added at the MPN Level. In the BOM tab, a ‘Rev’ field can be utilized to reflect the revision of your component, sub-assembly, or PCB. You can read here to learn more about the Revision Field.
Designators consolidated
Consolidated BOM just got better! On a multi-level assembly and/or BOM with overlapping parts, Designator fields will now be consolidated to provide a cohesive view of the part in your job.
Increased Performance of BOM and Material Tabs Through Pagination
By including pagination, we can now load the BOM and Material Costing views faster and allow larger BOM uploads.
