What's New: End of Q1 2017

CalcuQuote is an end-to-end RFQ management system that improves the speed and accuracy of your EMS quotes

In order to make the best RFQ process possible, we design CalcuQuote directly from your product feedback. With the close of Q1, we wanted to share with you some of the key milestones you’ve helped us reach in 2017:

  • LearnCQ: You should know CalcuQuote like we know CalcuQuote! LearnCQ is our knowledge base that houses how-to articles, FAQs, webinars and more. Stay tuned as we make further enhancements, including guided courses and videos!

  • Admin Panel: Every instance of CalcuQuote is highly configurable to ensure your RFQ process accurately reflects your business. In January, we launched a more user-friendly admin panel that allows you to easily comprehend and adjust your configuration without the support of a CalcuQuote team member.

  • BidCQ: Bid sheets are a great alternative to APIs when you want to gather material information directly from a supply-chain contact. Our supplier portal, BidCQ, makes it easier for your suppliers to manage your bid requests and exchange inventory information.

  • Two-Factor Authentication: Protect your quote process with Two Factor Authentication.

  • RFQ Checklist: Every job is different. With the new RFQ Checklist functionality, users are able to further customize the new RFQ form by adding unique inputs, lists, and requirements. Whether it be sales information or risk mitigators, the upgraded RFQ form can more easily support your data collection goals.

  • Upgraded Document Management: We understand that quote documentation can be just as important as the quote itself. Now, CalcuQuote’s document management functionality uploads larger documents faster than ever.

Thanks to your feedback, CalcuQuote is excited to announce even more updates and functionality coming to your instance soon! To kickstart the second quarter of 2017, find our latest release below:

  • Company Profiles: Sometimes one is just not enough. With multiple profiles, CalcuQuote users can designate their RFQs with unique company details including taglines, logos, and contact information.

  • Import/Export Manual Pricing: Are you performing manual entry on Material Costing? It's in the past. CalcuQuote now has a Costed BOM template under ‘Bid Sheets’ menu. With this new template, users can easily enter their manual pricing and availability data from Excel and import their data back into Material Costing.

  • Distribute BidCQ: Generating bid sheets just got easier. The new distribution drawer gives you more control over the bids you send and sets a foundation for further improvements to improve visibility into your bid requests.
