This guide walks you through setting up landed cost options and customizing Auto-Select behavior to better reflect your pricing strategy.
✅ Step 1: Configure Landed Cost Calculation Type
-
Go to Configuration → Costing Settings (or your system’s equivalent section).
-
Select how you want to calculate landed cost and TCO:
-
Percentage
-
Total per Unit
-
Total per Order
-
These settings impact how added costs (like tariffs and freight) are applied to supplier pricing.
📊 Step 2: Set Landed Cost Drivers
Be sure the following fields are populated in your part data or supplier quote:
-
Tariff
-
Country of Origin (COO)
-
HTS Code
-
ECCN
These values are now used in landed cost and TCO calculations to give you a more complete pricing picture.
⚡ Step 3: Configure Auto-Select Behavior
-
In the same configuration area, find Auto-Select Settings.
-
Choose which priority the system should use:
-
Lower Landed Cost Unit Price
-
Lower Landed Cost Total Price
-
The system will use your selection to automatically choose the best pricing for each line item, based on the calculated landed cost.
