Consolidate easily your multiple assemblies and BOMs into one Quote.
CalcuQuote allows you to consolidate multiple assemblies with different BOMs in one RFQ to quote as a package and take into consideration like materials.
If you have separate BOMs files and would like to import them separately, here is how you will want to setup the system:
-
Enter in your normal RFQ information. Identify the overall board quantity.
-
Navigate to the BOM tab.
-
Once on the BOM, click the '+' in the top right. You will need to add a line item for each assembly.
Example: In the image below, there are 4 line items because I have 4 assemblies each with a unique BOM.
-
Then, enter in the following fields:
-
Qty/Brd: identify how many of each assembly there will be. Example: If you have a total quantity of 100 on your initial RFQ form and you are quoting a total of 100 for Assembly1 and 200 for Assembly 2, Qty/Brd would be 1 for Assembly1 and 2 for Assembly2.
-
Part Class: Ensure that the part classification is set to Assembly Top Level.
-
MPN: Add the name of the assembly to easily identify each different assembly.
-
-
Once you have added all assemblies and information, you will Submit in the top right hand corner.
-
Once submitted, click BOM Levels in the bottom navigation bar. This will show you all the BOMs you entered.
-
Now you will need to click on each assembly.
-
This will bring you to the import page to import the BOM for each assembly. Click Import BOM in the top right and go through the normal import process.
-
Once you import, click Submit.
-
Click BOM Levels and repeat the steps above until all BOMs are imported and the BOM tab is green.
