Quick Start to QuoteCQ

Welcome to QuoteCQ! We're so excited to have you as a customer. Our goal throughout your journey is to get you up and running as quickly as possible.

You’ll start your onboarding journey by setting up the QuoteCQ fundamentals. It is important to complete the below before your meeting with your customer success manager.

Add your users

Invite your team. Don't worry, there is not a limit on the number of users. The more the merrier.

Here’s how (repeat steps to setup multiple users):

  1. Navigate to the Configuration view and select User Account.
  2. Click on the + next to 'Users.'
  3. This will display a pop-up titled 'Create New User.' Enter the First Name, Last Name, Email, and choose which company you would like the user associated to.
  4. Use the drop down to add a role for each user, choose one or multiple roles.
  5. Roles are based on the actions allowed. Check all the actions you would like the new user to be able to do.
  6. Click 'Create User.' This will initiate an invitation email to the newly created user. The new user will need to click on the link to create their account credentials.

Set up your suppliers

Your suppliers are important to your business, and there are many ways you can connect with them through CalcuQuote

Supplier APIS

Check the Suppliers APIs available for your region in THIS page and reach out to your CQ Customer Success Manager, who will send you a guide to request your APIs.

Suppliers and Contacts

The more suppliers you have in your list, the better. Although not all supplie have API capabilities, CQ simplifies the quoting process for them. List your Suppliers and Supplier Contacts in your QuoteCQ configuration and start quoting.

Labor and Overhead

Labor is an important part of your business. We will help you transition your labor model into the QuoteCQ format.

Send your current labor model to your customer success manager. We will review your labor model to help adapt to QuoteCQ. After we review, we will work with you on the import.

Company Details

Setup your company details by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Configuration view and select Misc.
  2. Choose Company Details.
  3. Here are some of the details important to update:
    • Company Name
    • Contact Info
    • Logo
    • Standard Quote Note
    • Terms & Conditions

You made it through all the fundamentals. There are other configuration points we will touch on throughout your journey. Don’t be shy to ask questions and explore the Configuration section of your application.
