What is a Package?
We define a Package as a combination of multiple assemblies being quoted as a group with varying quantities for each assembly.
When would I use Package Quoting?
A customer sends you an RFQ for three independent assemblies and 3 different forecasts. Your task is to provide a competitive quote to them that takes into account the volume purchasing discounts of winning the entire program.
Customer RFQ:
Using CalcuQuote’s new Package Quoting functionality, you can easily input each of these scenarios as “Packages” into your assembly. QuoteCQ then automatically calculates the total amount of materials required for each assembly, including consideration for leader and attrition.
You can also easily account for additional assemblies and scenarios being added to the RFQ as new information is made available from the customer. There is no limit on the number of assemblies and scenarios you can create.
Package Quoting Highlights:
-
Allows for more flexible scenario modeling

-
No limit on the number of Packages or Assemblies in a quote
