What's New in QuoteCQ? 

📬 More Control Over Supplier Bid Emails

You now have the option to turn off non-initial bid emails (like bidsheet update notifications) to suppliers. This feature is available behind the scenes and must be enabled by CQ

Why It’s Great

Minimize unnecessary supplier emails and streamline communication—especially helpful for managing high-volume or frequently updated bids. Reach out to your CQ contact to get this feature enabled.

📦 QuoteCQ: Bid by Line Card Groups -- Phase 1 

You can now generate bids by selecting a single Line Card Group, allowing you to target specific supplier-manufacturer mappings with greater precision.

Why It’s Great

This gives you tighter control when generating bids—ensuring only the right suppliers are matched to each manufacturer based on your Line Card Group settings. No more manual filtering or supplier mismatches when quoting by region.

🔐 CPM Template Permissions Update 

Users with the CPM Template Setup permission can now show or hide the Formula column when working in templates. Additionally, a new permission—CPM Edit Restricted—has been added to control admin-level access for managing templates.

Why It’s Great

More granular control means a cleaner interface for users who don’t need full editing capabilities, while still giving admins the power to manage complex template logic behind the scenes.

 


Integration Updates

🔗 Microchip DataFeed Integration

We’ve integrated Microchip into the applicatin to bring more accurate and up-to-date pricing data into your quoting process. 

Why It’s Great

You’ll get real-time Microchip pricing in your quotes—no more manual lookups. I

🔍 Custom Data Source Search Enhancements

You can now configure how your custom data source searches for parts—choosing between Exact or Contains match types and specifying which part fields to match against, including combinations like MPN+CPN or MPN+IPN.

Why It’s Great

Eliminate the noise and manual review. This update gives you more control over how your inventory and pricing data is matched to BOMs—perfect for setups with customer-specific stock, shared MPNs, or resistor matrix pricing.

 


What's New in BidCQ? 

📝 More Flexibility for Submitted-Open Bids

If your team utilizes the Bids to Remain Open setting in CQ, we’ve got good news—part statuses like Pending, and No Bid can now be updated even after a bid is submitted.

Why It’s Great

Make real-time corrections without reopening bids—CQPS will reflect these updates accurately, keeping your current pricing clean and up to date.

📄 PO Export: Control Line Consolidation by Dock Date

You now have the option to choose whether PO lines with the same dock date and different ship quantities are consolidated or kept separate during export.

Whether you’re optimizing for ERP compatibility or managing deliveries by job, this gives you the flexibility to export POs the way that works best for your process. Choose your preference per PO or set a company-wide default—your exports, your way.

🔁 Reuse Deleted PO Numbers

You can now reuse PO numbers that were previously deleted, making it easier to maintain a consistent and organized PO numbering system.

Why It’s Great

No more workarounds or manual adjustments—this update simplifies purchase management and ensures your records align with real-world ordering and tracking practices.

⏳ Clearer Visuals When Saving or Submitting

You’ll now see a loading indicator when saving or submitting actions like Add/Edit Demand Line or Add to PO, so it’s clear something is happening behind the scenes.

This helps prevent repeated clicks and accidental duplicates by letting you know when your update is in progress—no guessing required.
