What's New in QuoteCQ?
Alert for Required Bid Columns before submitting
Suppliers now need to fill out all required fields before they can submit their bids in BidCQ (if req columns are configured.) If anything’s missing, the bid stays open in BidCQ and QuoteCQ until it’s all squared away.
Why do I care? By keeping required columns in check, we’re making the bidding process smoother and more accurate. This means fewer hiccups, better quotes, and an all-around easier experience for everyone involved.
This change will roll out first with the Bid By Line card feature and then with the Add to Bid feature.
Select Supplier Groups to Auto-Run after BOM Submission
Configure your Supplier API Groups to auto-run and kick off automatically when you submit a BOM. We're also adding a pop-over to display these auto-run APIs, so you’re always in the loop.
The Need to Know:
- Unique APIs will run without duplication, even if they’re in a group and as a single auto-run API.
- You’ll see a clean list of auto-run APIs, including those from Supplier Groups, 3rd party sources, and Datafeeds—if they match the RFQ company, they’ll show up.
- Filters are refined for precise updates: AssemblyId, CompanyId, LineItemId, and IsAutoRun = true.
Why do I care? This update makes your workflow faster, smoother, and more reliable, with less manual work and no duplicates when gathering pricing for BOMs.
New Template Columns & Auto Select Filters: Quote ID & Quote Expiration Date
We’re enhancing your pricing control with the addition of the Quote ID and Quote Expiration Date to the manual pricing template which can be edited directly in CQPS. You will also have the option to auto-select valid quotes, with expiration dates automatically checked to be within the days defined in Auto Select.
Why do I care? These updates provide you with better control and accuracy, ensuring you manage pricing with confidence and always use the most current data with a proper paper trail.
Package Quote Costed BOM
You read that right! Your true Package Quotes now have a Costed BOM available to download via the Materials tab reports.
Why do I care? Now you will be able to see the costed BOM per package!
Materials Risk Improvement: Single Supplier Review Added
We’re introducing a new view to help you identify unique pricing scenarios more effectively.
The Need to Know:
- Single Source Lines: View lines where only one distinct supplier has provided pricing, even if they’ve given multiple responses for the same MPN. Each supplier is counted as one source.
- All-Inclusive Count: Includes all pricing sources—APIs, bid sheets, data sources, and manual entries. Unique spellings of supplier names are treated as separate sources.
- Clear Line Review: Excludes lines where a supplier has multiple responses across multiple MPNs, keeping your view clean and focused.
Why do I care? This update helps you quickly pinpoint and manage lines with unique supplier pricing, offering clearer insights and more accurate data.
PCB Tile now shows Unit, NRE, & Excess along with Total Unit Cost
When using the PCB Tab, the tiles with pricing will show the Unit Cost, NRE, and Excess with the total unit cost if those totals are amortized.
Why do I care? This update gives you a comprehensive view of your costs, helping you manage and understand your pricing more effectively without needing to click back and forth between PCB pricing tiles.
What's New in ShopCQ?
PO Lines Sorting Update: By Release Date
We’re making it easier to handle PO lines by ordering them by release date. Lines with the same MPN will be grouped together in sequence, even if they have different quantity breaks. This helps keep related lines together and reduces confusion, especially when dealing with large PO lists.
Why do I care? This update streamlines PO management, making it simpler to track and review lines, and ensuring that related items are easy to find.
Semi-Monthly/Bi-Monthly Scheduling Added!
Now tune your schedule to be able to schedule shipment bi-weekly (every 2 weeks!)
Why do I care? More scheduling options means more flexibility with your POs.
Improved Tool Tips for Disabled Buttons
We’re adding tooltips to disabled buttons, so you’ll know exactly what needs to be done to enable them or why they’re currently disabled.
Why do I care? This update helps reduce confusion and guides you through the necessary steps, making your user experience within ShopCQ smoother and more intuitive.
Structure and Grid Improvements
We're working on updates to the application for overall ease of use and speed -
What’s Changing:
- Simplified Layout: We’re cleaning up the design to make it more intuitive and user-friendly.
- Consistent Look and Feel: We’re organizing everything more clearly, so future updates are a breeze.
Why do I care? This update will make navigating and using our system smoother and more straightforward, helping you get things done more efficiently.
