QuoteCQ: How to Add Multiple Assemblies in 1 RFQ Form

Multi-Assembly Quotes allow the user to create an RFQ with multiple Assemblies which Materials will be costed separately but connected with the same RFQ ID.

Add multiple assemblies on the New RFQ form.

(BOMs will be costed separately with no materials consolidation).

  1. When submitting a new RFQ, click "+ Add Assembly".
  2. This will create another section: 'Assembly #2'
  3. After adding all of your assembly information, click 'Submit' and begin quoting.

Once you've finished quoting each assembly separately, you can then export each assembly's quote into a single PDF.

Create a Multi-Level BOM

The Multi-Assembly Quote is different from the Multi-Level BOM (or sub-assembly), which is another way of handling the multiple assemblies treating them as true sub-assemblies.

If there are common parts on the BOMs, you'll be able to price them together to obtain volume discounts.
