QuoteCQ: How To use the Review Material Costing

QuoteCQ gives users access to review the exceptions for materials after pricing has been selected. This gives users an insight into material selections.

To get to the Material Review Screen, you will need to click on the Material Costing tab for the RFQ you are working on. Once on that page, you will want to click on the Review Button.

After clicking on Review, you will see a list to the right for different costs screens you can review. Here is a breakdown:

Review filters

  • Unpriced Line Items - Displays all line items that pricing was either not available or not selected.
  • Negative Target Price Variance - Displays the difference between imported Target Price and selected cost.
    • Target Price needs to be populated in the BOM tab, whether it is from the BOM file or using the BOM Insights function to Auto Populate Target Pricing.

As a result, we range from 0 to 100 the overall health of your sourcing, being 0 the poorest health and 100 the best.
  • Packaging - Displays the packaging information of the lines selected, if indicated. This will help you to review the packages you're quoting in case you want to avoid or focus on any specific packaging.
Remember that you can also control the packages you select using a filter in AutoSelec.
