What's New in QuoteCQ?
BOM Scrub Remembers What You Like
BOM Scrub now remembers your preferred column order and page size. When you come back, everything’s right where you left it.
Why it’s great: No more reordering columns or adjusting the view every time — your BOM Scrub setup now works how you work.
Smart BOM Imports with Alternate Parts
You can now upload approved alternate part numbers during the BOM import — no extra menus, just a smoother flow. If a duplicate part is detected, you’ll get a friendly prompt asking if you’d like to add the new one as an alternate.
Why it’s great: Skip the manual work — approved alternates are now easier to add, track, and manage. Say yes, and they’re added as pending alternates to the matching line item. Say no, and you keep moving. Either way, you’re in control.
Import Costed BOMs from External Tools
You can now import Costed BOMs from external quoting systems directly into CalcuQuote during RFQ creation. This pulls in detailed material costing and pricing data, automatically populating fields in CQPS and selecting the appropriate pricing for each line and quantity.
Why it’s great: If you’re transitioning from another quoting tool or need to bridge workflows, this feature makes it easy to carry over detailed BOM data — no manual rework required.
Customizable Bid Columns for Greater Flexibility
You can now rename default bid columns, define allowed values, and add helpful descriptions — all within the Bid Template configuration.
Why it’s great: Tailor bid requests to match your internal terminology and ensure suppliers fill in only what’s required — no extra documents, no confusion. It’s clarity and control, built into the bidding process.
More Control Over Landed Cost & Auto-Select
We’ve added new configuration options to give you greater flexibility when calculating Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Landed Cost. You can now choose whether costs are calculated by percentage, total per unit, or total per order — and tailor Auto-Select behavior to prioritize either lower landed unit price or lower total price.
Why it’s great: Whether you’re optimizing for unit economics or full-order cost, you now have precision-level control over how pricing is calculated and auto-selected — all while factoring in critical drivers like Tariff, Country of Origin, HTS Code, and ECCN.
More Control Over Price Copying in BidCQ
You now have the option to turn price copying on or off in BidCQ — and it works for both Normal Quotes and Package Quotes. When enabled, BidCQ will automatically copy prices between quantities where it makes sense. When disabled, you’ll enter prices manually.
Why it’s great: This update gives your team greater flexibility to match how you prefer to quote. Whether you want BidCQ to help autofill prices or keep things manual — the choice is yours.

Texas Instruments (TI) Clearer Errors for PO Processing
When processing a PO, you’ll now receive clearer, more actionable messages if the supplier’s response returns an error or informational notice. Instead of vague or confusing system responses, you’ll know exactly what went wrong — and what to do next.
Why it’s great: No more guessing. Whether a PO fails, partially processes, or needs attention, you’ll have the context to act confidently — saving time and avoiding unnecessary rework or escalations.
Reusing Deleted PO Numbers — Now Possible!
You can now reuse a PO number that was previously deleted. If a Purchase Order was removed for any reason — mistake, rework, or update — that same number is now fair game.
Why it’s great: No more workarounds or numbering confusion. Keep your PO sequence consistent and aligned with your internal records, saving time and eliminating manual edits.
Extended Address Field Lengths
We’ve increased the character limits for address fields across the platform to ensure full address details can be stored without being cut off.
Why it’s great: No more shortening long street names or abbreviating important address info. You can now enter complete, accurate address details with confidence that nothing will get truncated behind the scenes.
What's New in 4.0?
Create & Edit Customers Directly from RFQs
You can now add or edit customers and their contacts right from the RFQ creation screen — no more needing to leave the flow to manage your database.
Why it’s great: It’s smoother, faster, and keeps your quoting momentum going. Add new customers on the fly, tweak contact details, and avoid duplicate entries — all in one place.
Cross-RFQ CPM Comparison Is Here
You can now compare CPMs across different RFQs — not just within the same one. As long as your assemblies meet a few simple criteria (submitted CPM and same quote category), you’re good to go.
Why it’s great: Get a broader view of your costs. Whether you’re reviewing scenario quotes or package quotes, this new comparison flow helps you identify trends, outliers, and opportunities — across RFQs, customers, and time.
More Control Over CPM Templates
Users with CPM Template Setup permission can now show or hide the Formula column in the CPM grid. Plus, a new permission — CPM Edit Restricted — lets you manage access to admin-only fields (like those in the Kimball template).
Why it’s great: Better visibility for the folks who need it, and fewer distractions for those who don’t. Keep your CPM setup clean, secure, and customized to your role.
